An experienced Quantity Surveyor by trade, Dédan followed his entrepreneurial streak to establish Construct Interiors in 2008. Predominantly focused on the commercial interiors market, he has over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry and carries with him a vast and impressive portfolio that includes work for some of New Zealand’s most well-known corporates as well as largest public organisations.
Dédan’s extensive experience, strong commercial acumen and ability to communicate ‘construction’ to clients, make him invaluable to setting up and overseeing any project. Sometimes overcomplicated by the industry, his approach to success is refreshingly grounded – deliver on time, on budget, to the highest standard and in the safest manner possible.
Outside of work Dédan is a family man and is hugely involved with the community doing whatever he can to impact it, and its young people in a positive and constructive manner.
Dédan holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Project Management and Quantity Surveying from Natal University, South Africa.
Jason has over 20 years of experience in the New Zealand construction industry working predominantly in the Auckland and Wellington commercial markets. Commencing his working life as an apprentice for Fletcher’s Construction, he has held roles across the full range of construction disciplines at the highest-level. This experience has provided Jason with a unique and deep understanding of all aspects of project delivery including reconstruction, methodology, programming, project management and commercial management.
During his time at Fletcher Construction, Jason was involved in a number of significant projects, including the Maritime Tower, Customs D4, Fonterra Building, Bayleys’ Building and most recently Precinct’s Commercial Development where he led the project’s Commercial team.
Jason is big on solving problems for clients and prides himself on creating value through a blend of ingenuity and best practice construction techniques.
With a natural intuition for running construction sites, Ryan quickly rose through the ranks at Construct Interiors to take a lead role in driving the delivery teams. He now boasts over 10 years’ experience at the pointy end of the New Zealand interior construction market.
Respected for his ethic, calmness, communicative style and balanced approach to problem solving, Ryan plays a critical role in ensuring that the site teams deliver what the clients’ want. The youngest and most ‘tech-savvy’ in the leadership team, he is also responsible for managing the internal systems and processes at Construct Interiors.
Ryan has the unique ability to relate to all project stakeholders (from the builders to the boardroom) and he has a keen focus on creating strong, long-term relationships.
Dave has nearly 15 years’ experience in the Auckland Property Market working for NZX listed property vehicles across a range of disciplines including corporate finance, asset management and development management. Throughout his career he has been involved with several transformational projects; most notably, he was responsible for the delivery of Precinct Properties’ PwC Tower at Commercial Bay.
During his time in the industry Dave has gained not only a deep understanding of commercial real estate, but also a fundamental understanding of what drives value for both occupiers and owners. He brings his unique client-side experience and perspective with him to the construction industry.
Dave is responsible for driving Construct’s strategy as well as ensuring that client service remains at the forefront for the business. He holds a Bachelor in Valuation and Property Management from Massey University as well as a Master of Business Administration from The University of Auckland.
